Capturing the Wild

26th September 2019 28th September 2019

Renowned African wildlife painter, Annabel Pope, will be holding her first solo exhibition in Scotland, at Thirlestane Castle, between 26th and 28th September.

Over 60 of Annabel’s paintings and limited edition prints will be displayed in the State Drawing Room, inspired by her travels in Africa, Asia and North and South America.

With a unique style, and using a variety of mediums, Annabel has previously been commissioned by Ralph Lauren and Tusk Trust. She will be at Thirlestane for the duration of the exhibition to answer any questions visitors may have.

The exhibition is kindly sponsored by Aardvark Safaris and James Eadie Scotch whisky. Rupert Patrick, Annabel’s husband and the founder of the revived Eadie whisky business, will be offering recent limited edition bottlings to sample and will be on hand to guide whisky fans through an array of fine Speyside, Highland and Island single malts.

The exhibition is open from 10am–4pm on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th September and from 10am–1pm on Saturday 28th Septmber.
